what would happen if there were no power?
ever since early this century, electricity has become an essential part of our modern life. almost all the activities of human beings depend on electricity. for eample, we need electricity to run our machines. we need electricity to light our lamps and to heat our houses. we need electricity to cook our meals. even a lot of entertainment such as tv, tape recorder and fi[ms need electricity. we will not hesitate to say that the development of our society depends entirely on electricity.
if there were no electric power, the world would be a different one. first of all, almost all the machines had to stop running. as a result, we had to use our hands to produce goods. in the evening, we had to live in darkness and we couldn＇t play or work. the development of our modern life had to mow down or even stop.
therefore, we should make great effort to stop the wasteful use of the electricity. we should turn off the lights when no one is in the room. we should switch off the electric appliances such as tv or tape recorder when no one is watching or listening. furthermore,we should find new ways to generate more electricity so that we may have abundant supply of it.
